Group Business Coaching with Ake is designed to help you accelerate progress towards your goals, with the support of our expert team and a cohort of local business owners who understand the realities of running a business.
Limited to 10 non-competing businesses, this coaching programme based at our office in Whakatāne includes 4x half-day group workshops (one per quarter) during 2025.
You’ll get the advice and tools you need to build a stronger, more profitable, more enjoyable business that delivers on your personal and business goals. Learn the skills to get in control of your finances, and gain access to our experienced advisors to talk through your direction, key decisions and strategies. To attend Group Business Coaching you’ll need to have a Business Plan to work from. If you don’t, you can book a session with us to create your business plan before joining the programme.

Generally this programme is suitable for anyone who has been in business for a year or more.
If you are just getting started, our ‘New To Business’ programme might be a better fit. If you’re not sure, please get in touch and we can determine what’s best for your stage.

This programme consists of 4 half-day workshops held throughout 2025, starting on April 1. We’ll send you pre-work before each workshop to make sure you get the most out of the day. You’ll also gain practical actions to take away and implement after each session.
Just half a day, once every three months to change your future - it’s a small time investment that aims to have a big impact on your future.

The programme is $295+gst per month for 12 months.

Yes. However, to begin the programme you’ll need to have a Business Plan to work from. Ake’s Business Planning service is usually delivered in a half-day workshop - meaning we can definitely fit it in before the start of the programme.
